A little something I've been working on...

Here is a recent denim jacket I bought, I noticed there were some on the market with embroidery on but they were quite expensive. So I chose the cheap option and decided to do the hand embroidery myself. I think it's worked well and I will continue to add to this and possibly cover the whole sleeve.

Wallpaper layouts

From these designs I will choose my two most successful and one will be screen printed whilst the other painted out. The colours I'm going to use will be bright tropical colours with hints of rich colours to add to the baroque element.

Tropical

Here is my fourth A1 drawing sheet, my theme is tropical so I've used bright flowers and fruit. The background is dye which has bled into one another.

Drawing for wallpaper designs

Here is a flat colour painting which I have then worked back into with colouring pencil. I think it worked well but I could add some more detail to the leaves and stem.

Second dress

Here is my second dress all hand painting is done, machine embroidery is done too and now just to add lots of hand embroidery. The blue flowers should be exciting once I've added the purple and yellow centres.

Third dress

Here is a photo of my third dress, firstly I have started hand painting dye onto fabric which is so easy! I don't know why I didn't try this sooner. I've then hand painted onto other fabrics and applied them down, now to start my embroidery!
